La mome in Paris

Edith Piaf

Her real name was Édith Giovanna Gassion. She was born on 19. december in 1915. She was one of the greatest chanson singers in whole history of chansons. She was known as La Mome Piaf (The Little Sparrow). She did not have great or beautiful life.  But her songs express her inner feelings. I really love some of her songs: Non je ne regrette rien, Milord, La vie en rose and my favourite Paris. I am very sad because she is already dead. She died on 11 October 1963 and she was only 47 years old. World had lost one of the greatest french stars.

Red and The Dreamers

I do not smoke but I need to say that some cigarettes are really great. But I do not mean how they taste, I mean how do these cigarettes look. I like cigarettes: Nat Sherman, American Spirit and Camel. These ˝magic sticks˝ are almost a must have item for a lot of people.

Nat Sherman

Fantasia cigarettes are pretty awesome. In one pack is 20 cigarettes and 5 different colored cigarettes (Pink, Blue, Red, Green and Yellow).

You know these cigarettes if you watched The Dreamers movie. Isabelle (Eva Green) was smoking only RED cigarretes, just like her dad and her brother Theo (Louis Garrel). Story was really great because it is a sort of erotic incest and youth rebellious spirit. All story happened in Paris. Isabelle and Theo lived in vintage flat with mother and father. Isa met Matthew (Michael Pitt) when she protested, because some people want to destroy a cinema. I will not continue because you need to watch this movie for better understanding. Watch it and then tell me if you like it or not.

The other thing that you really need to have is INSTAGRAM. It is almost like Tumblr but it is a much more different thing. It is mainstream already but it is an app which'll never get too much mainstream, it is always new and fresh stuff. You can follow your friends, like photos and many other things. It is a great app and it is FREE :O

I found totally vintage singer. He sang in french and he is awesome. (click on the picture)

Do you know this mustache?

Charlie Chaplin was one of the gratest actors for silent movies. He was born in 1889 in Walworth. He was  great in mime so he become a greatest star in the world. Chaplin was known because of his mustache and a small black cylinder. He was british, but he died in Switzerland. Charlie died in 1977 when he was 88 years old. He was very famous because of these movies: A Woman of Paris, The kid, The gold rush and a lot of other short scenes. His wife was Lita Grey. She was gorgeous and her beauty was divine.

Many vintages ago

We are bombarded from all sides. But almost all of us have a secret place created with our imagination and our rules. But we can find this place in book, music, films, fashion, art or maybe in animals or trees. One of my gratest inspirations is book by Keri Smith: How to be an explorer of the world. In this book you can find food for your imagination. Keri is one of the not really known artists, but she deserves that we mention her. I have got two books of her: How to be an explorer of the world and Wreck this journal.

How to be an explorer of the world
In this book you can find your own imagination and sense for art. She said:

At any given moment, no matter where you are, there are hundreds of things around you that are interestin and worth documentary.
It is filled with wonderful pictures and hand made things. She does not write for ordinary people, her books are for people with great and crazy imagination. This book guides you to do a homemade museum with your favourite things and these things can be everything. Buy you will not regret it because with this book you see a world with no rules and borders.

Do you like vintage handwritten letters or postcards? I really love this type of conversation because it is not ordinary in these days. We have much faster internet post but in handwritten letters is something...I do not know how to say. So if you like it, this page is perfect for you because you can write postcards to anyone and everywere. http://www.postcrossing.com/

I wear only garbage for some people!

Today we wear a lot of different clothes from all over the world. Anyone has an unique style and unique personality. So we can not judge someone how does he or she look like? A lot of people wear fashion and vintage clothes, because this is in trend now. If you look for inspiration go to http://lookbook.nu/, because it is a world-wide known fashion page with a lot of different styles. I must say that I would like to look like some of these nice people with a sense of fashion. But today you must be totally perfect if you want to be a model and that is too demanding for me and my face.

Here are some people with a great sense for fashion:

It does not matter what you wear or how do you look. You need to feel comfortable in your clothes.

Hipsters look like they do not care how do they look, but they are very obsessed with their own image and clothes from non-mainstream shops.
Hipsters have a very unique style which is mixed with high-fashion and vintage-retro clothes and accessories.

My bike is not retro is VINTAGE.

We all forgot vintage bicycles from early 1920s. They were really great,
because bikes were not formed like these days. Today I will mention two
important bicycles: Velociped and Schwinn.

1. Velocipede

A velocipede was a term for any two, three or four-wheeled vehicle that was human-powered. These bikes were really big. First wheel was much bigger then second one. These bicycles were made from iron or wood. You had to drive very carefully, because if you fell down it was not really comfortable. But even today people are driving Velocipedes, because this bicycles are quite
unique and because they want something special. Price for this bike is high from 0-10000 euros.

Early Vélocipède

2. Schwinn bikes

Schwinn bikes are important piece of American history. Schwinn company had
made bicycles for kids and adults. Schwinn were the most popular bicycle in
the United States from the early 1930s through the 1950s. These bikes were
seen as luxury products intended largely for sport or recreation. They even
made bicyle with radio in bicyle large top tube.

These bicyles are live even today. They are important part for youth and
subculture of hipsters. They are modern and very elegant for cycling at the
town. With these bikes you will stand out of average of modern bikes. It's
interesting that they are on sale with very high prices, which
shows that they are constructed for higher and middle class.

I love days like this.

My camera has a soul?

Why do we need to speak about unneccessary things?

On that picture you can see Diana mini camera. That camera is so awesome because you can take Retro square format and Half-Frame format (72 on 35mm) pictures. It can fit in your pocket and can easily travel with you on your photo adventures.

Her older and bigger sister is Diana F+. It is very similar
to her mini sister. This is not just a camera because this camera has soul and heart. With Diana cameras you can take amazing pictures with flash or not. This small miracles are from Lomography

Lomography is one of the bigest companies for vintage cameras. But this cameras are not vintage they are RETRO. You can take really nice pictures with a lot of different 35mm films and it looks that pictures are from 60´s. But the price is quite high for plastic camera? Price is 90 euros.

Lomography cameras are very popular in these days, because vintage is comming back and everybody are looking for Retro cameras. Buy it you will not regret!

Hipsters buy it before it became mainstream!
